This book and I got off to a rough start. Ana is supposed to be a female alpha. I fully support this. But instead of kicking ass and taking names, she waits around for a man to take care of her. She needs a man to stabilize her pack, protect them and keep them financially afloat. I don't understand how she's a alpha of she can't take care of and protect her pack.I did warm up to the story as I got deeper into it. There are several threads running through it and I think Reus pulled them together well. Admittedly, I enjoyed the build up of the little side romance between the hero's brother Liam and a human woman. Their's is to be the next book and I'm really looking forward to it.While I had some issues with this book, in the end I enjoyed it. I plan to continue the series.
