What Were You Expecting?

This worked until the end. I enjoyed the chemistry between the couple as well as the developing friendship. The mistrust on both sides worked based on their pasts. The end frustrated me. Todd freaks out at Marina. That was expected. What bothered me was Marina's reaction. She put Todd out of her life (also expected and well deserved) but when he finally came to his senses she just..let it go. He said, "I'm sorry" and she said "that's ok". But I wasn't convinced. He didn't prove how sorry he was. She was so worried about letting a man take over her life, about becoming her mother, yet she says "that's ok"? It wasn't ok and more time needed to be dedicated to the resolution.It's too bad, because this could have been a fabulous story. Instead I was left feeling lukewarm about it.
