This was a book JenB recommended when I said I was looking for psychic paranormals. She hadn't read it yet but had heard good things about it. I enjoyed certain aspects of the story, but I was bothered by a lot of the smaller details. I had to suspend disbelief quite a bit. Cass's gift was interesting, and I liked the way her relationship developed with Malcolm. I didn't like the way the suspense plot played out. It was predictable and full of plot holes and cliches. Not a terrible story, but not a great one either.
